Mar 28, 2014 10:47 AM in response to ErinEHSby varjak paw,What sort of "adobe files" are these? Photoshop? Illustrator? Acrobat (PDF)? Or what, exactly? You need an app on the iPad that can read the files, but there are a number of ways to get them onto the iPad.
As to the Office apps for iOS, I'm not sure how those transfer documents. I can't find any documentation on the subject, and haven't yet downloaded them not having or wanting an Office 365 account. Perhaps someone else here will know.

Mar 28, 2014 1:24 PM in response to ErinEHSby Christina Larson,If you are just trying to transfer files from your iPad to your computer try using Dropbox.com or Google drive. I think for your purpose dropbox.com would work great and there is an app for that.

Mar 28, 2014 1:28 PM in response to varjak pawby varjak paw,Sorry, you said "from" the iPad. For most apps you can transfer via iTunes:

If that doesn't help, tell us what app you've been using to create these files and we can probably provide more specific help.

Mar 28, 2014 1:32 PM in response to varjak pawby ErinEHS,I have PDF fillable forms that I need to get back onto my computer after they are filled out. Right now, they only way I have found to get them off is to open an Acrobat.com account, save them to that cloud, sign into Acrobat.com from my computer and download them. Also renaming files is a bit of a issue (and not intuitive at all to me) so I am also having to save the form under the diffferent names (for inspections) before I go, email it to myself, and then open in it in Acrobat, fill it out, save it in acrobat, and go to Acrobat.com from my computer later. There has to be an easier way to do this.....

Mar 28, 2014 1:36 PM in response to ErinEHSby varjak paw,What app are you using? If it's Adobe Reader, the instructions above should work. If you're using a different app, methods may vary.

Mar 28, 2014 1:40 PM in response to varjak pawby ErinEHS,The adobe acrobat reader app is what I am using on the ipad. They were created in Adobe Reader Pro. There has to be a more direct way than what I am doing though

Mar 28, 2014 1:54 PM in response to ErinEHSby varjak paw,Again, with the Adobe Reader app the instructions to which I referred above, transferring directly to your computer through iTunes, should work.
