Can't understand why my notepad isn't syncing with my calendar anymore since I downloaded iOS 7

I used to be able to schedule my calendar from my note pad and suddenly I can't anymore. Has something to do with downloading IOS 7 and signing up with icloud

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iOS 7.1

Still works for me (and I am running iOs 7.1 and have iCloud.

Are you sure the date format is correct (i.e. it converts into a hyperlink)? And this is the Notes app, and not something else?
