It's on my calendar, so not sure why you aren't seeing it.
1985 isn't rolling around again, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Its between 1984 and 1986.
well since 1985 was over 25 years ago it doesnt really need to be on there
ok well 1895 was over 100 yrs ago so its not really needed anymore
But why is 1894 there????
Maybe you can tell us why you need that year to populate, instead of asking rhetorical questions

Well that's completely different! đ
Its between 1894 and 1896.
Not really a joke - it does show up on both my iPad and iPhone.
I have 1895 on my calendar. As mentioned, I would not worry about not having it.
I have both 1895 and 1985. Just curious but why does it matter?
But I need to make sure I have a record of when the first cartoon was printed in a newspaper!
It's very important for a... thing.
well I needed to check out a date and i couldnt find it on my iphone. why would that matter? i dont know. bottom line is that my iphone is missing 1895. was i worried? no. there is allways google. would i like to know why its missing? Yes. does your answer help me in any kinda format?? No. tnx
so the whole thing might just be a small glitch. because it doesnt seem to be an issue for anyone else, but still thats 1895 your talking about, thats way in the past
Must be a glitch on your phone. I can scroll back to well past the 1890's and 1895 is right there between 1894 and 1896.
Not sure if it will help but you might try closing the calendar app (Double tap the Home button, swipe up on the screen shot of the calendar in the multitasking window) and then restarting it.
Obviously you are seeign something that is unique to your device and not a wide spread bug. Likely you will never know "why".
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
