Have set up the Apple TV .... but cannot find Airplay icon on my IMac anywhere ! What am I doing wrong?

I have followed instructions on support link and have the correct IMac. Set up Apple TV to play DVD from the computer.... But cannot access Airplay icon- help!

iMac, iOS 7.0.1, Airplay

Which iMac do you have, not all support Airplay. Please look over:
