Ever since the ios updates, my ipod will not connect to my computer or itunes.

So am unable to get music on it, etc. Is there anything I can do? Besides reinstall itunes, because that did not work.

I also cannot even go through my device managers since nothing even appears. I have a Toshiba Windows 7 Laptop.

iPod touch, Windows 7

See

iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

- I would start with

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

- New cable and different USB port

- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

It turns out it was something with my device manager(It had not displayed anything at all just always blank). I had to go through run, and change a bit of stuff following instructions from this board: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-hardware/device-mana ger-is-blank/51a16b23-d188-4501-91c0-0a257a643e4b?page=1&tm=1396312452757

Then went and installed the latest update for the apple driver.

So happy my ipod is communicating with my computer again.

Ever since the ios updates, my ipod will not connect to my computer or itunes.
