When I was on my PowerBook G4 (12-inch 1.33Ghz) at the power switch's sometime letter show this massage. Mac OS is not open anymore, is hang. Try a safe boot which will run a file check.

I can not tell what the pictures show except that you are to restart which I understand does not work. Two things to try next are PMU reset and PRAM reset. Do you have a backup of your PowerBook G4 data and a system installation disk?

I found some references to Kernel Panic which is what you seeing. It could be a due to a hardware or software problem. If nothing works you will need to reinstall the system or replace the hard drive if at fault.
