Are you asking about GarageBand for iPad? Becasue this is GarageBand fo Mac Forum.

In GarageBand for iPad, the Mail option is the first icon. IT is from my iPad, but the Mail option is also there on my iPhone5.

GarageBand for iPad is "optimized for iPhone 5" but I don't know if that means that this feature is not available for iPhone 4S.

Hope that helps

Have you upgraded to GarageBand 2.0 or are you still using GarageBand 1.4?

In either versions "Share by Mail" should be available as described here:

In GB 1.4: http://help.apple.com/garageband/iphone/1.4/index.html#chsec12c387

In GB 2.0: http://help.apple.com/garageband/iphone/2.0/index.html#chs39284d66

If this does not work, consider to reset GarageBand:

Go to the "My Songs" view to save your current project, quit GarageBand, and the open the "Settings" app. Scroll down to the applications and select "GarageBand". Enable "Reset".

The problem may be caused by other apps - try the general trouble shooting drill:

If all fails, try the three R's - restart, reset, restore:
