How can I change what I see when I open Finder in Mavericks?

I just downloaded Mavericks on my 2009 Macbook. When I open Finder it shows "All My Files," but I would like it to open to my home folder that displays my Applications, Documents, Downloads folders, etc. How can I change it? I've already tried removing "All My Files" from the Favorites bar.
