Q: I am not getting all my mail; only some of it

Since upgrading to Maverick, I am told by people they have sent me emails, but yet it is not in my inbox. I have checked my settings, deleted mail and my spam folders. Suggestions?

Is it on the mail server?....when you go to your sever via the web based interface?

No the email that I am missing is not on my server.

If spotlight is turned on, you can search your mac for it. If it's not on your mac and not on the server, then the server bounced it back or it wasn't actually sent.

Spotlight is turned on. Still can't find "missing" email. Now I am not getting any forwarded mail from my gmail account.
