Apple do not exchange different model phones. So, you cannot exchange the 4 with a 5 at Apple.

Having said that, you can get an identical model, but you will have to pay a reasonable official price.

Contact Apple. But to answer your question, the phones cannot be traded in a part exchange with Apple themselves.
