Will Toast Titanium 5.2.3 Run On Tiger?

Still debating the OS upgrade for my friend's G4. One of his major use software applications is Toast of which he has Titanium version 5.2.3. If he has to replace Toast with a newer version in order to run Tiger, then we will probably just upgrade him to Panther. Cost is a big issue as he is retired.

So, anyone here running Toast 5.2.3 on Tiger?

Actually Toast 5.2.3 is a dual platform application and this is Titanium, not Lite. It loads and runs well in Panther (10.3.9) w/o booting into Classic, but the updater to get to 5.2.3 says it is good for up to Mac OS 10.3.

What I'm trying to find out is whether anyone actually has run Toast Titanium 5.2.3 on Tiger w/o problems. I've seen references elsewhere to the effect that it has big problems or won't run on Tiger.

Thanks Mike,

That's what I thought to be the case. Since Roxio pulled the updates for Toast 5 Titanium, I couldn't verify which Mac OS the final revision, 5.2.3, was issued to support. But, I thought that it was OS 10.3.?. I know it works with 10.3.9, but I was hoping it could be stretched to work on Tiger.

I've already been checking out Toast 6 Titianium auctions on ebay. Like to avoid version 7 due to the cost ($80 after a (uck!) mail-in rebate). Roxio is still posting the updates for version 6 so it is still a viable option.
