how do i delete a song from my playlist on my ipad

Assuming that your iPad is on iOS 7, then if you swipe/drag from right-to-left across the song on the song selection screen on the playlist then you should get a Delete button appear to its right - you should also have an Edit button top left of the list of songs on the playlist which you can use to remove songs from it
