grey bar at the bottom of the home screen?
Hi, can anyone tell me why the home screen of my Iphone 5c is not completely green but it has a grey bar at the bottom where the most used tools are?

Same thing happened to my iPhone 6s Plus after I updated to iOS 10.2 and I tried resetting, Accesibility>Increase contrast but nothing worked. But I was able to resolve it my changing my wallpaper to something else. Then when I changed it back to my previous one the grey bar was gone! Phew~~

Settings - General - Accessibility - Increase Contrast = Make adjustments here.
Its part of the UI. It holds the apps at the bottom of the screen but it isn't noticeable until you move the apps from the bottom of the screen to the top.
Another person has the same problem, we are suggesting trying a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the Apple then let go.
If your iPhone is less than a year old your iPhone should still be in warranty. Take it to your nearest apple store immediately. Looks like an issue with the hardware. Good luck.
Hey!
I just wanted to thank everyone who read my post and took the time to reply to me but I espcially wanted to thank stedman1 because his suggestion worked and solved the problem!
And for whoever had a simliar problem... try this too!
OMG!!!! thank you so much, over the year I have had an ipad and a iPhone 4s and both of the devices has the grey bar on the home screen & i recently got a 5s and the same thing happened, I have never know why or how it is caused and now I finally I know thank you so!!! 🙂
HI, what exactly did stedman1 suggest that solved your problem? I have the same problem with my iphone 5
It helped me. You just have to turn off the Reduce Transparency or any other things that you leave on or you can adjust it yourself determining on the version of your iPhone. I specifically use iPhone 4 (GSM).
You are welcome.
i tried it not helping!
Do you have the brightness d
