iPad suddenly has secure server problems on all Google apps

Hi! I use my iPad at home and at school. I had been running iOS 6 with no problems, until about a week ago. Whenever I went to gmail.com, my ipad refused to let me log in. Other websites that I had previously visited wouldn't work properly, telling me that the server wasn't secure. I tried using the wifi at my school and at my house, but both failed. I just decided to update (finally) to iOS7, but that hasn't helped. On the YouTube app, I'm also having an issue, and I believe it's related. It tells me that there is an error, and to tap to retry. Never works. If I want to sign in or out of my google account, I can't. On the mobile youtube site, I can't play videos, nor can I see a channel icon. Anyone know how to help? Thanks!
