Export iTunes library

Hello, i have a new computer and i want to export my itunes music library from the old pc to the new one. I tried to export the library as an XML file an mailed it to the new computer. I started itunes and wanted to import it but then i got the message that some files cannot be founded. Only the the playlists were imported, not the music files. How can i export the music files to an other computer?
