When I send an email to someone with a non Apple computer, the text of the email intermittently will have interjections of:(WINDOWS-1252?). I have found info to help with issues with attachments but nothing to help to see if this can be remedied. Can anyone help with this issue? Thanks

Honestly, I am just typing a normal email. Just text with punctuation. I will ask to see where the Windows1252 is popping into the emails that are sent and get back to you. Thanks for replying!

not to mention they both work.
I think it must be denoting a charachter that cannot be displayed, I'd compare the Raw source of the one you sent & maybe one they forward back to you...

Yes, I have asked and received replies from other Windows users and there has not been an issue with the inserts. Am wondering now if this is just a problem on the person's computer that is receiving my emails and not anything to do with my IMac and the upgrade to OSX.
That is where I was going, I do believe it's that particular Windows machine or setup, quite sure of that now.
Might try a different font for that person.

I'm thinking that user needs to Repair their install, or reinstall the OS.
Or, possibly they installed some flaky fonts.
