Q: My previously purchased books won't download from the cloud onto a new iPad. Any suggestions?

My new iPad won't download books I've purchased in iBooks. Anyone know what to do?

    Do you mean that they don't show in the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app, or that they show but don't download ?

     

    Have you tried logging out of your account (e.g. by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the store) and then logging back in, and/or tried a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
