An App developed for an iDevice will not be compatible with a Mac.

If you do find an App designed for the iPad, you can check out the developer's web site to see if they have a similar App/Game for the Mac.
Another aspect of your question is that yes, you can download any content that you have downloaded on one of your iOS devices onto your Mac (or PC) by using the iTunes app. This will be a backup to your iOS content as it will be stored in the iTunes content libraries should you ever need it again and it is no longer available in the iTunes stores on your iOS devices. Since there is no guarantee that content sold (free or paid) through the iTunes stores will always be available in the future Apple very highly recommends that you always backup your content in this manner. And then backup your Mac or PC as well.
