iMessages not sending from Macbook Pro 10.9.2 Mavericks
I am using a MacBook Pro 15" Retina with OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks. In addition, I have an iPad retina wifi with iOS 7.1 and an iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.
Recently, my iMessages are not coming to or from my Messages.app. This has been a convenient tool for staying in touch, so I'm contacting the community to see if anyone has any ideas that haven't been printed so far.
I have had some difficulty with iCloud keychain and Exchange at work, so there may be some keys that were deleted. I mention this as there was some mention of keys related to iMessages, but the post didn't elaborate.
I have already tried the remedies such as turning off iMessaging on the iOS devices and then putting them in airplane for a while. Then connecting on Messages and then reconnecting on iOS. No help.
I tried deleting everything out of Messages (all old threads), disconnecting from all IM networks (AIM, Yahoo!, FB, Google, etc), and I've tried logging completely out of iCould on the MBP to see if that would help. No help.
If anyone has any other ideas, or perhaps something related to the keychain or perhaps file-level cleanup that might snap it back into usefulness, I would appreciate it. Clearly, this is not a mission-critical app, but it would be nice if it would work again.
Cheers,
David
