Q: my ipad crashed after overheating. a picture of a connecting wire leading to itunes came up . how do i connect to itunes to attempt to restart my less than 2 yr old ipad?

hello , my i pad over heated sveral times and now i have tried rebooting . but i keep getting a apple sign and my main screen , unless i completely shut it off . How do i connect it to itunes to try and fix it.?
