Can someone walk me through a step by step process to boot camp OS X 10.9.2 to install Windows 7 (I have the physical disk for Windows 7)?

Can someone walk me through a step by step process to boot camp OS X 10.9.2 to install Windows 7 (I have the physical disk for Windows 7)?

I've been reading many forums and watching tutorial videos but still very confused as to what to do...I'm afraid to mess things up.

Thanks!

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

I have asked the same question in a different way, from my understanding to install window 7 32 bit on Mavericks 10.9.2, bootcamp 5.1 will not accept so one has to use bootcamp version 4. I am not so sure if one can istall bootcamp4 on Mavericks 10.9.2

Is there someone who can confirm this or refute it? Or can a solution be offered up?

Kappy you truely are a sage of information, one can wonder the knowledge you have on bootcamp when your best offer of help was to go buy something when my original question posed was what can I do to resinstall win7 on my computer after a HD failed.

My original question is here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6031847

my apologies, 358jermino, my intention was not to hijack your question but I was thinking you may be in a similar situation as I am.

Cheers

i have macbook pro late 2011 and macbook white late 2006 and never had problem at all when installing windows on bootcamp, also on my client imac 2010.

at first, i just click boot camp, follow the step, the partition automatically set by bootcamp whether to divide equally or manually set the partition size, then i just insert DVD windows 7 then it restart then the installation begin as normally we installed on PC. After finishing install windows 7, it reboot again then start again in windows 7.

when rebooting process, did you pressing and hold Alt (option) key ?? try not to.
