Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If tapping the "watch" button in the iTunes Store does not play your video in the Videos app, first try forcing both applications to close using these steps:
- Double-click the Home button.
- Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
- Swipe the app's preview up to close it.
These steps come from this article:
iOS: Force an app to close
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
If your video still does not play after trying again, restart your iPhone next:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Additionally, use these steps from the article above (Download past purchases) to make sure that the video is downloaded to your device:
All the best,
Jeremy
- Double-click the Home button.

May 31, 2014 9:13 PM in response to jeremy_vby iflysims70,I have same issue with numerous movies that I have downloaded on ipad previously and then deleted from ipad. I did both steps numerous times and it still says "watch" even though movie is not visible on ipad.
