DIrect sync iPhone and Mac
Is there any way how to sync contacts and calendar directly with my Mac? Sync via iCloud is painful and I do not trust it anyway. Thanks.

What version of OS X does your Mac have? If it is 10.9 (Mavericks), contacts and calendar syncing via USB isn't available at this time.
"OS X Mavericks v10.9 and later do not use SyncServices. Instead, Mavericks supports sharing your information using several network-based and cloud-based solutions. If you want to sync your information across multiple devices and computers, you should use one or more of these methods. These include iCloud, CardDAV servers, CalDAV servers, and servers that utilize the Exchange ActiveSync protocol."
Well, my point is that I do not want to use any cloud for privacy reasons. I also think that clouds stop working in the most inconvenient time. Moreover, I have problems with calendar sync if I tried via cloud.
So is there any option to sync directly with the computer? Thanks for help.
You can purchase OS X Server from the Mac App store, set that up & sync locally with your Mac. Or, be patient & wait for the next update to Mavericks...I can't say any more than that.
Many have complained about this.
