QuickTime Grey Screen -iTunes HD Content
Hi,
I've just started using QuickTime for the sole purpose of playing my iTunes videos outside of iTunes for varios performance reasons. All SD contents plays perfectly through QuickTime but when attempting to load up a HD movie all that displays is a grey screen. The movie plays fine within iTunes but when accessing it through the iTunes folder and opening with QuickTime it's a grey window.
Things I've Tried
- De-authorized and re-authorized my sysyem.
- Restarted my PC.
- Checked for updates.
I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro with the following specs.
AMD-FX 6300 (Stock Clocks)
8GB G.Skill Ares Ram
AMD 7870 2GB OC Graphics Card.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
