Syncing Computer is impossible?

So I recently got a new computer, and therefore I wanted to sync my phone to my computer. The problem is that it won't let me do it, and neither will it let me authorize the computer. I feel like I've tried everything in my power to fix this problem, but I haven't come across a solution yet.. -.- Please help me!

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1, Windows 7 x64

I'm not sure from your question exactly what steps you've taken so far. Did you download the latest version of iTunes for your Windows 7 computer? Click on the link below, and then click on the blue Download iTunes link at the top right corner of the window.

Once iTunes is installed, click on the Store command on the menu bar, and sign in to your account using your Apple ID and password.

Do you have a copy of your Music folder from your old computer? You can add your music to your new iTunes library:

You can transfer your purchases from your iPhone to your new iTunes library:

You can also setup iCloud on your new computer to sync contacts, calendars, Photo Stream, etc.

Just to show you what it is like..

Here I type my apple ID and Pass

This picture is kinda self-explanatory... so I follow the instructions

because it is in Danish it says "Reparer" - and not "Repair" but it's the same.


After I click repair it tells me that the computer needs to be restarted before the new configurations, will be used.. And after I have restarted my computer I can start from the top of this message again, doing the same 4-5 steps over and over again.


I hope that this has made it easier to understand my problem..

Hi Emil SL,


It sounds like there is some kind of a permissions issue on your computer's operating system.

Try the troubleshooting steps in these articles:

I don't know how you and/or the other supporters figured it out - but thank you so much... Finally I can get to use all of the features of iTunes with my iPhone again!!!!
