No signal on iPhone 5?

Hi everyone,

I have had no proper signal on my iPhone 5 for about 4 days. The SIM card is working fine, it has been updated and I have restored it to it's factory settings.

It says 'searching' pretty much all the time and will occasionally pick some up but within seconds it's gone again. I have noticed that if I turn it off and on again it will regain full signal for about 25 seconds and then looses all signal and 3G after this.

Does anyone have any ideas? Anything I could do to solve it?

Thanks in advance 🙂

I've managed to deduce that it isn't the SIM for the following reasons:

1) The carrier has confirmed that there are no problems in the area.

2) I have swapped the SIM card into a friends iPhone. I have full signal, can send and receive messages/calls when in the other device.

3) My family are all on the same network, they have full signal when sat next to me when I have none.

Thanks for your help so far 😀
