My wifi button works but when it is turn on, it doesn't detect any wifi conexion where there is one. Therefore, I can't connect to any. I'll be thankful for any help!

Do a hard reboot of the device and then do a reboot of your wifi router.
Settings>general>reset>network settings
This should do the trick

Only thing I can suggest is a full restore of the device.
