I can't turn off my safari notifications to install creative cloud

I've turned them off on preferences/notifications but I still get prompted to turn off during installs

MacBook (13-inch Aluminum Late 2008), Mac OS X (10.6), no URL bar displayed with Safari

Select Creative Cloud in Safari > Preferences > Notifications then clilck Remove or Remove All
