I just switched to Maverick and now I cannot use my Canon printer, ImageclassD420. I reloaded the driver but still no luck. I can't find the software for an iMac; do I just delete Maverick and use another system? I don't want to get another printer.

Thanks so much for your assistance. I downloaded the drivers per your instructions but when the page printed it was blank. On the Canon page you recommended the dropbox under software indicates there is no software for the driver I downloaded. I am just totally stumped at what to do. But I do appreciate so much your response and efforts.
I reset the printing system per your recommendation and reinstalled the drivers. But still no software available for this printer for Mavericks. I seem to have exhausted all the possibilities. Any other suggestions out there? Or do I I just cut my losses and buy a new printer? Thanks much for all the suggestions and help.
1. When you issue a print command, use the pulldown menu on the side of the print command to save to PDF, and then open the PDF in Preview, and print from there.
2. If 1 doesn't work, go to step 3.
3. Install http://support.apple.com/kb/dl899
4. Repeat step 1, and if 1 doesn't work at this stage, install Canon's drivers I mentioned before.
5. Repeat step 1. If that doesn't work, then contact Canon and ask if they have a firmware update. If they don't, then get a new printer from the main list:
