I'm guessing you were trying to Reinstall the OS and it needs an Apple ID that purchased Mavericks?

If so the answer is very simple. Access the App Store from another Mac. Sign in with your Apple ID and click to Download Mavericks.You can cancel the download, you just want to make sure it shows up in your purchase history.

Then you will be able to reinstall.
