No. If you want a new iPad you'll have to buy one at full price.
If your problem is covered by the warranty apple will either repair the iPad or replace it with an identical model. Apple does not accept trade ins for newer products. My suggestion would be to have your iPad repaired. If you want a different device, sell your iPad and purchase the newer model.
So my ipad is not working and I have apple care and I'm gonna get it repaired instead of repairing it could I upgrade it to a iPad mini or air and If I did would there be a discount seance I have apple care?
