Contacts repeating, bug won't allow deletion, Address Book gone

I have a terrible problem with multiple duplications of files, images, songs, and contacts. I looked in support but nothing I tried has fixed problem. I downloaded and used an app called Cleaner by YT Development. It was supposed to remove duplicate contacts. Suddenly all my contats started disappearing, then duplicating when I contacted their support. I removed the app but the problem now is that contacts, or the address bookapp is no longer visible in Applications. aThe MacBook Pro, my iPhone5 and logging into cloud - ALL contacts are propagating or repeating. I think I counted 266 Apple Store contacts. I try to delete them using the instructions from iCloud help and Apple Support, but neither resolves the problem. They disappear momentarily then reappear one by one. I am so frustrated. How do I stop this peculiar problem?
