In Septembre 2012 I used the app store to download OS X Lion. I recently had an issue with my mac and had no option but to use my old OS X Snow Leopard DVD to boot my mac. Now, OS X Lion can't be found anywhere. Do I have anyway of retrieving this?

Did you look in the Purchases section of the App Store? If you don't have the App Store, go to > Software Update, and 10.6.8, which includes the Mac App Store, should be offered.

Thanks. Yes, I did that but Lion is nowhere to be found. It seems that it can no longer be downloaded from the app store even if I wanted to. Perhaps this is why I can't find it.
Thanks. It doesn't to be it though. Can you actually find Lion in your app store?
Lion is no longer available.
Those that require it, and have not already purchased it, can contact Apple for a Download Code.
