Mar 31, 2014 3:15 PM in response to artistik senegambiaby Studio X,Check to make sure you are using FCE native material eg DV, AIC (not H.264, AVCHD) and that your still images are in the RGB colorspace (not greyscale or CYMK)

Mar 31, 2014 5:42 PM in response to sharronsussby Meg The Dog,AVCHD works fine in FCE because it is transcoded in the log and transfer process to Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC). If you try to work directly with AVCHD, without the conversion, or by having converted AVCHD to mp4 with an external convertor, you will have nothing but problems in FCE.
