Problem with in app purchase on garageband 10.0.2

Got in app purchase with newest (10.0.2) garageband. this message 'garageband was not able to complete the download. check your internet connection and try downloading again.' shows. I do not have an internet problem, i have streaming service such as sky and netflix which work fine, I have also downloaded iPhoto and iMovie. Anyone else seen this happen? Is it a know garageband problem and are there any fixes out there?

GarageBand (Mac) '11, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
