I tried changing the input sources and the language®ion in my system preference but still, my pages uses British English. I tried eberything but it's still not working. Can anyone help???

What version of Pages?
Have you dragged 'English' (this is USA English) to the top of the list in Language & Region?

Try
System Preferences/Keyboard/Text/Spelling
and
Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar
(if you are using Pages 4 and earlier, it is Inspector > Text > More > Language)
