No warranty with replacement?

I have just received a replacement iPod touch 5th generation after my original ten week one broke. I have just checked the warranty online to fined that I only have 30 days support and that my warranty has expired??? How can this be? Surely I have the rest of the warranty which should last until January 7th 2015? Can someone please advise me where to go from here.😮

iPod touch, iOS 7.1

Does Apple provide a warranty on my replacement iPod?

If Apple provides service under warranty, the terms of the warranty and applicable provisions of law will cover defects in materials and workmanship that arise during the remaining warranty or 90 days after iPod service, whichever provides longer coverage for you. If iPod service is provided outside of warranty, Apple warrants that the replacement iPod will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the replacement ship date.
