Resizing a movie with QT Player 7

Hello,


I cutted a short piece from a movie, 768x404, and inserted with FCE a explaining word to the end of this part, like a title; then I exported as quicktime movie The result was 1248x702 expressedby Info in QT player, Finder (quick view?) says 720x404 to it, please see the image.

It looks, other applications are influed too, just not MPEG Streamclip.


What to do? To install QT fresh?

No, the dependency goes the other way.


There is a file, which does not know, that there is FinalCut (…) on the disk. Quicktime Player allows in Export dialogue to set a size, but does not reflect to this:

Above: At the right Info of Player about the file;

at the left the dialogue to export from player, size 720x404.

Above: Info from player about the result, (the movie has been shortend for a second run)

size: 1248x702 (not the filledin values from exporting command.
