Have a piece of software setup to save pictures from an slr camera into a folder. Is it possible to get automator to be up and running and print these as a JPEG is saved into a file path?
A complete novice to this so any advice is very welcome.

Basically have a photobooth and want people to be able to go in, press shoot for the camera to take a picture which is then saved into a folder on the mac, at that point i would like to use automator to print it out straightaway.
So on and so forth as each picture is taken i'd like it to print it.
The basics are fairly straight forward, you make a Folder Action workflow that you attach to the folder the images are being written to. The workflow is
You need to set the Folder Actions receive line at the top of the workflow to the folder you are using.
This will work, any file placed in that folder will be printed to the default printer. You have a few options in the action you might have to set.
You might also want to do some cleanup in the folder with the files that get placed there so the folder size doesn't get out of hand.
Is there any way you can change the photo print size? I have been trying to do the same but I would like the photo to print 4"x6" boarderless but the only thing I can get it to do is print from the wrong tray of the printer and not 4"x6".
Can automator print jpegs from folder as they are saved?
