I have an iMac that has been running OS X 10.6.8 for a while, but I just updated to OS X Mavericks (10.9.2). I also have an iMac G5 install disc with OS X 10.4.2, that came with another disc that installs OS 9.2 (for Classic Support). I am wondering if it is possible to support the Classic environment (OS 9.2) with Mavericks?

You can use SheepShaver, which is a Classic Mac emulator. However, if you are replying on Class Mac apps for any documents, I would advise that you migrate the data to a more modern application as soon as possible.
And SheepShaver's legality is questionable because it requires having access to another machine with Mac OS 9 compatibility, and finding a way to extract the code from the CPU, which in many viewpoints violates copyright law.
And since Sheepshaver also could only go up to 9.0.4, and the iMac G5 was limited to 9.2.2, you won't find the software you need for it anyway through the iMac G5's software.
