iCloud.com Mail crashes in Chrome ("Aw, snap!")

I've been having a very frequently occurring issue using iCloud.com Mail in Google Chrome on multiple Windows computers. What happens is the tab "crashes" (and every window with iCloud open), and I get the "Aw, Snap!" error in Chrome. This can happen when reading email, when searching, when composing, etc.

Has anyone ever experienced this, and better yet, found a fix for it? It's incredibly annoying and basically makes the iCloud.com Mail useless.

Sadly, this hasn't worked for me at all. Has anyone else found a solution? I've cleared cache, cookies, site data, etc. Nothing seems to work. iCloud works fine for about five minutes then grinds to a complete halt, and I get the "page unresponsive" warning and have to kill that tab.
