Cost of upgrading ram memory?
Hello
Does anyone know how much the Apple store will charge for upgrading RAM memory from 16gb to 32 gb on a newer 27" iMac (mid 2013)?
Many thanks

Try just going into the Apple Store or calling. It's free to get an estimate and if you do get one there's no obligation to go through with it.
Also, you can upgrade it yourself by buying ram from this website:

I hope I solved your question.

Much more than you would pay if you were to upgrade it yourself. On new iMacs, Apple charges $200 to upgrade it from 8 GB to 16, and $600 to upgrade from 8 GB to 32.
If you already own your iMac, the answer depends on its present memory configuration. If all your DIMM slots are occupied, you need to purchase four 8 GB DIMMs for a total cost of about $400. If you already have two 8 GB DIMMS, you only need to obtain two more for about half that much. Determine what you have by going to the (Apple menu) and selecting About This Mac then click More Info... then Memory.
Purchase memory from OWC / MacSales or Crucial. Memory upgrades for your iMac are considered user-performed maintenance and installation is simple.
Welcome Kaylee!
That all depends on where you are. Pricing can vary geographically
However, Apple tends to charge almost twice what other vendors of reliable Mac memory charge for quality RAM. And you can add the RAM yourself in the 27-inch iMac 2013. Apple even shows you how in this article:

Takes only minutes.
