iPad Screen Not Displaying Correctly?

My iPad 2 screen is no longer displaying correctly. I tripped while going up stairs, and it hit the ground while in it's case. Now the screen is mainly blue with lines and specs of Red. I believe what happened is the Green factor in the Red/Green/Blue of the display is broken and no longer works. I can still see, barely enough to navigate through the screens, use internet, etc, but I know this isn't normal. When the iPad is supposed to display the black background with the Apple Logo upon startup, the background is blue. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I think I may have to send it in for repair, but I'd like to hear other suggestions, if any.
