ITIL Management Foundation v3
Apple TV
My previous question came out unclear. I have lost my remote for the Apple TV..I cannot connect and would appreciate some advice
If home sharing is already enabled and you have an IOS device connected to the same network you can use the remote app. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a new remote.
Vaz, what do mean by the remote app in this case please?
Many thanks.
So this is an App called Remote which one gets from the App Store.
For the benefit of those who might stumble across this thread, when I loaded it on my iPad 4,
the App called Remote allowed me:
1: to manage the content of my online iTunes Library on the TV connected to the Apple TV box.
2: when Home Sharing was selected from within the App, to manage the local and online content of my iTunes Library across all the available computers which were running and had Home Sharing set up.
What I have'nt figured out yet is how to mirror the iPad on the Apple TV. Thats tonights project:)
Here is the info for mirroring
Thanks.
The key to this is finding the Control Panel by swiping up at bottom of screen.
Seems obvious I know but the mind sometimes reads what it wants to see.
It's all sorted now.
