Girlfriend rented a movie, but it never downloaded. Apple resent it to her, but now that she's home we'd like to watch on my iMac. She authorized my computer but can't see her movies. Anyone know how to pull up her stuff?
She hasn't downloaded the replacement copy (rentals are a one-time download) ? If not then does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option download it ?
She downloaded the movie to her computer, but we decided to watch it on the larger iMac. When we do what you suggest above on the iMac we can see there is 1 download, but when we click that button it gives us a scroll bar and then no more. We can see other movies she has purchased, but not the current rental/
Rentals are one-time only downloads, so if she's downloaded it on her own computer then you won't be able to download it on the iMac.

If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
So I'm not sure if you can move it between computers via home sharing, or whether you would need to move it to a device and then from that device to the iMac.
Thanks for that answer. I'll have her try that and if it doesn't work we'll have to suck it up and watch pn the smaller screen. ;-)
