Q: I just updated to mave do I address this?rick and can't open my microsoft word- hdo I address this?

how do I open my microsoft 2011 word after installing maverick- i can't open it anymore...

Make sure it is updated. If it is and doesn't open, try reinstalling it.

 

I didn't have any problem with Office when I upgraded to Mavericks, but I have had similar experiences with Office over the years.

 

Another thing to check is try to open it in another account. The Guest account works well as it creates a clean environment to test in. If it works in another account, it is likely one of the perference files or the cache that is causing it to fail.
