Question about .asx files

Hi. I am a recent Mac convert, and have a question about .asx files. I have installed the Flip4Mac application and it seems to work for most file types, but I have some .asx files that open fine and some give a message, "file is not a movie file". Any ideas? Are there different types of .asx files that aren't being handled by Flip4Mac?
