Any advice for connecting apple tv to the server?

We just hooked up a new modem and now the apple tv won't connect; we keep getting "not connected to the server", any one have this same problem?

Modem? Or Router?

Is you computer connected to the internet?

Did you delete the former network and enter password for the new one?
