Greyed wifi caused by the wifi antenna?

Now i know i posted this before, but i want to know could the greyed out wifi could have been caused by the wifi antenna being loose, too hot or something else?

I just read on one of the other posts on apple, saying if your wifi mac address is NA It means that the IC thingy needs to be fixed,

Mine shows my wifi address and its greyed out', well used to be after the hair drier and freezer method
