Verify Disk stops without conclusion HELP
Hello! I have a Macbook Air 13 (mid 2012) with the last update of Mavericks. Every time I tried to fix problems in it I tried Veryfing/Reparing Permissions and Disk and it worked perfectly. Now, every time I try to verify disk (Machintosh HD) it says:
Verifying volume “Macintosh HD
”Checking file systemPerforming live verification.
Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.
Checking extents overflow file.
Checking catalog file.
Checking catalog hierarchy.
Checking extended attributes file.
and stops there. However, if I try it using the Recovery mode it says that the hard disk is ok, without problems. I think it is important to highlight that last time I verified disk it said it had an error and that it needed to be repaired through the recovery mode. I did it and it said that the problem was solved and that the disk was now ok. The problem came when, once I entered to my user and tried to verify the disk to prove that the problem has been already solved, the disk utility function said that of above again.
I don't know if it is important, but if I try to verify “APPLE SSD SM128E Media” it works and says:
Verifying partition map for “APPLE SSD SM128E Media”
Checking prerequisites
Checking the partition list
Checking for an EFI system partition
Checking the EFI system partition’s size
Checking the EFI system partition’s file system
Checking all HFS data partition loader spaces
Checking booter partitions
Checking booter partition disk0s3
Checking file system
Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.
Checking extents overflow file.
Checking catalog file.
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking catalog hierarchy.
Checking extended attributes file.
Checking volume bitmap.
Checking volume information.
The volume Recovery HD appears to be OK.
Checking Core Storage Physical Volume partitions
The partition map appears to be OK
Then, I earased the HD and reinstalled OS X again, but the problem still persists.
I have to say that the Macbook works perfectly, but this little thing is keeping my mind bussy because I never had this problem before.
By the way, my hard drive is almost new, since I got it in December.
HELP ME PLEASE!
